DEWA sets aside $1.15bn to support Expo 2020 Dubai

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has allocated $1.15bn (AED4.26bn) to supply the Expo 2020 Dubai with electricity and water as well as supporting its electricity and water infra projects using the latest smart systems as the Official Sustainable Energy Partner of Expo 2020.

Huawei partners with Moro Hub to launch open cloud from region’s first green data center

His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), witnessed the signing of a collaboration agreement between Moro Hub (Data Hub Integrated Solutions), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DEWA, and Huawei, a multinational technology company, to launch the multi-tenant Huawei Cloud Stack hosted in the UAE at Moro’s Green Data Centre, the first of its kind in the Middle East.

Saudi consortium, Huawei kick off 2030 vision-oriented SNFN modernization project

The Consortium of the main Saudi telecom carriers, Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) and Integrated Telecom Company (ITC) signed the agreement of the Saudi National Fiber Network (SNFN) modernization project with their partner Huawei. By building the first 5G and B2B-driven, ultra-broadband optical backbone network in the Middle East, the SNFN project will contribute to the end-to-end network transformation and agile automation strategy as part of the 2030 Vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
