Huawei exhibited its latest security solutions at the RSA Conference 2017 in Abu Dhabi on November 16, including the CloudFabric Security Solution and the CloudCampus Security Solution, together with an extended portfolio of Huawei security products and solutions.
Following the current trend of the cloudification of enterprise applications, the traditional physical network boundaries have disappeared and enterprises lack the protection based on virtual machines, containers and workflow. In addition, targets of advanced threats are more and more precise and elusive, but the traditional protection with single method and reactive response can hardly detect and respond in a short period.
Huawei CloudFabric Security Solution helps customers quickly resolve edge, data transmission, and user access security issues arising from digital business transformation. The solution enables intelligent, flexible, and trusted security protection for cloud data center networks and tenants.
Huawei CloudCampus Security Solution provides intelligent detection and treatment of intelligence, and O&M intelligent campus network security solution, helping enterprises build intelligent proactive security defense system for the entire network.
SDN and NFV make networks more flexible, allowing operators to provide new services more quickly and gain competitive advantages. However, ICT technologies can also introduce new security risks.
The Senior Researcher of Huawei Security Solution Planning & Architecture Design Department delivered a speech entitled Intrusion Tolerance on this RSA conference. He explored intrusion tolerance as a strategy for revising security assumptions in designing security solutions.
Intrusion tolerance includes four technological points: Distributed Consensuses; Proactive Recovery which means self-cleansing intrusion tolerance; Threshold Cryptography, which means to keep the secret secure until a certain number of components have been compromised; amd Diversity Design, which means to avoid common mode failures.
Huawei has been working in the security domain for over a decade and said it will continue to deliver industry-leading security products and solutions to ensure ubiquitous security for global customers.
