New app offers AR-enabled digital concierge services for buildings

The company, Resonai, has built this solution on Vera, their own enterprise platform which enables the transformation of any physical space into a digital environment. In a similar way, Vera Concierge will enable personalized assistance, context-aware information and indoor navigation via the use of an augmented reality (AR) interface.

According to Emil Alon, founder and CEO at Resonai, “Vera enables us to merge the digital and physical worlds so that devices and people operate seamlessly, and we can create exciting new experiences for consumers and business.”

“Vera Concierge is a perfect example of the type of application that not only engages end users but also delivers real value to building owners and facilitates managers. Once we transform physical spaces into intelligent digital environments, the number of applications we can create is practically limitless,” he added.

Through the use of Vera Concierge, building visitors and tenants will be able to check in and register seamlessly upon arrival and will be provided with contactless, personalized information. The app’s turn-by-turn navigation system will enable people to be guided to their destination with helpful, context-aware AR content.

Resonai had said that the app would be able to provide visitors or tenants of the given building with important product information and will deliver AR-based bran experiences in an engaging way.

One of the app’s key features would be real-time analytics on user behaviors, traffic flows and product interactions, among other categories of data, as consumers physically move through the space. This will enable managers to integrate data with ecommerce data to fully understand the buyer journey.

Goldbeck Construction, a company that has already implemented Vera Concierge, has been using the app to fulfill their vision of creating and delivery “buildings of the future”.

Johannes Hengelage, innovation manager operation and maintenance at Goldbeck Construction, said, “Vera gives us the ability to digitize our buildings and roll out innovative applications such as Vera Concierge, Vera Maintenance Manager and others that not only deliver better work environments and experience for tenants and visitors, but also improve workflows and operational efficiencies for our facilities managers”.
