As per the agreement, ZTE will collaborate with PLS Plantation on the smart agriculture solution by virtue of electronic tagging, IoT, big data and cloud computing.

This agreement witnesses ZTE’s devotion to Malaysia. Since establishing its foothold in Malaysia in 2004, ZTE has been devoted to the telecommunications network, IT, cloud computing and smart devices in Malaysia. It has established long-term partnerships with the mainstream telecom operators and state-owned companies in Malaysia.

Moreover, ZTE plays a vital role in boosting Malaysia’s economy for benefiting the local community. Currently, around 600 employees are working for ZTE Malaysia, with 90% of them being native-born.

ZTE is also dedicated to corporate social responsibility and local education. In Malaysia, ZTE has partnered with Multi-Media University to jointly establish ZTE-MMU Training Center, which is aimed to cultivate over1000 engineers for Malaysia every year.
